This is a theatrical piece written for Simon Emmerson on the occasion of his 60th birthday and performed at De Montfort University by the Dirty Electronics Ensemble. The piece is thoroughly imbued with alchemy and concerns the tension between Sulfur and Mercury as part of the process of making the Philosophers' Stone.
